2024 SUMMER PREP CAMPS
Our Summer Prep Camps provide daily sessions within a positive learning environment where students are inspired to practice effectively using a proven training system that focuses on the key elements of skills as they develop their ‘in-game’ execution.
Our Summer Prep Camps includes having your athlete attend three consecutive days for two hours of on ice training each day. This is a group based program with a maximum capacity in each session (varies by location) and is delivered at a 2:1 ratio (2 Goalies: 1 Instructor). Each camp will take place at one of our real ice training facilities.
WEEKLY CAMP REGISTRATIONS
These PREP camps are available over 7 weeks from mid July to the end of August and can be registered at either our Scotiabank Pond and
Varsity Training Centre locations.

CAMPS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING PRACTICE COMPONENTS
- Group Warm Up
- Foundation Skating drills that enhance basic skating skills, edge control
- Functional Movement Exercises that isolate key elements of movement techniques to help build healthy and sustainable skills
- Technical Skill drills that develop proper execution thru repetition
- Dynamic Movement drills that will focus on 'in game execution'
- Small Area Games that require battle, compete and strategy

Week 1: July 16th to July 18th (Scotiabank Pond Only)
Week 2: July 23rd to July 25th (Scotiabank Pond Only)
Week 3: July 30th to August 1st (Scotiabank Pond Only)
Week 4: August 6th to August 8th
Week 5: August 13th to August 15th
Week 6: August 20th to August 22nd
Week 7: August 27th to August 29th
LESSON PLAN PREVIEW
Goalies can now be better prepared for their training session by being able to preview the on ice Lesson Plan including drill videos prior to stepping on the ice.
This Lesson Plan serves as a guide for our students and staff.
Drills may be modified, progressed or changed based on each individual athletes needs.
Watching the videos several times with the intention of understanding what is involved will enhance the experience by being better prepared for practicing it on the ice.
